Welcome!
I am so glad you’re here! My name is Kyle, and I am the CEO and Founder of Overland Light Services. I was born in Plymouth Massachusetts and raised in the middle of the state of Maine. If you follow along on my adventures you will soon learn that I am the “jack of all trades.” I have no problem being known as this as I believe in the saying:

- Beach Comber
- etc.
The list goes on, but the point here is you never know what someone enjoys unless you ask them. Some of these trades have stayed with me for most of my life while others have gone away. I really enjoy learning new things as you can see by the different activities I have tried before.
Currently, I am nurturing and growing a better lifestyle for myself:
Social media, specifically Instagram and Facebook, is allowing me to work in a field I enjoy and have always wanted to do. In all of my previous jobs, there has always been one strong common factor. Working with and for people. Community and supporting others has always been the driving factor. That is why I prefer to work for companies that are community, or sustainably based, companies.
This passion was the focus while working for the pools, by ensuring the safety of others. It showed up when making a cup of coffee was not just about the product given to my customer, but the experience I was able to create for them, by learning who they were. When I study astrology, I enjoy learning about it because it teaches me more about other people and the way the world has been changing. And even now, when I gain a new client, I do what I can to learn about them and their needs to be successful.
For me to feel happy working for another company I need to believe in what it is they are offering to the world. Change can only happen when we work together to make a difference.

Right now, I am fortunate enough to have a partner who will take me around the world. Traveling and experiencing new cultures will soon be a huge part of the everyday life that I will be living for the next (many, many) years of my life. My career in Social Media will allow me to fully enjoy this travel-immersed lifestyle.
Since I have the opportunity to travel I have decided to start a blog. This blog will show you some of the most unexpected, and best, travel locations you can find. Along the way, I plan to tell some people’s stories too. If you’re interested in this, then follow along on my adventures on my blog and my Instagram.
I want to show others the world while I travel. My traveling will still be focused on the impact on our planet and the things we can do to make a better world.
